Renowned conservationist David Bellamy has given his seal of approval to a Herefordshire holiday park’s green credentials.
Bellamy praised Woodside Country Park in Ledbury when it scooped top honours at his annual conservation award ceremony. For the eighth consecutive year, the venue – which hires out luxury Scandinavian-style log cabins – has been awarded gold status for its environmental concern.
Woodside Country Park has constructed several ponds on the site for local aquatic life and the re-planting of trees and hedges that are native to the local area.
