The Coast team are great believers in park home owners’ rights and quality of living, which is why we were pleased to read about a group of Cornwall park home residents joining together with their local council to create a task force.
The Park Homes Residents’ Forum for Cornwall, as it will be known, will develop best practice guides for park home operators, create a social network between sites and advise park home owners on legislation if they decide to buy, sell or re-site their park home.
Although the committee still needs to be recognised officially following a vote by park home residents across the county, Cornwall council has already agreed to support the group by providing a dedicated information page for park home owners on the council’s website.
