The Boat and Caravan Show 23rd-28th February 2010 Birmingham NEC
As well as attending the Manchester Caravan Show and Motorhome Show, we will also be attending The Birmingham Boat and Caravan Show at the NEC in February. We find this a successful event and have enjoyed meeting many prospective and existing clients over the years. The Scottish Caravan Show 2010 proved to be a great success. The first day of the show was Caravan Club Day and this certainly attracted the footfall that one should expect on the first day. We provided many competitive caravan insurance and static caravan insurance quotations at the show. A lot of people had just bought caravans so this hopefully is the sign of things to come. We now look forward to the National Boat & Caravan Show at the NEC which starts 23rd February.

The Manchester Caravan Show 2010 is now over and we are back to the day job. Thursday and Friday were very quiet. The Caravan Club did not have a stand, and in years gone by they have always pulled in the crowd certainly on the Thursday. Saturday and Sunday, however were busy and we gave a lot of touring caravan insurance quotes as well as many static caravan insurance quotes. Having discussed the premiums with the potential clients our caravan insurance quotes seemed to be competitive as did our static caravan insurance quotes. The Scottish Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show 4-7th February Glasgow SECC

We will be venturing North to Glasgow and attending The Scottish Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show in February. We are pleased to announce that we will be attending the Badminton Horse Trials 2009 between 7th-10th May.

Another Caravan show at The NEC in Birmingham is now over and we have had yet another amazing response to our ticket giveaway and our prize draw

The winner of the prize draw goes to Mr & Mrs Randall from Rugby. Arrangements will be made to make sure that they receive their magnum of champagne as soon as possible and our congratulations go out to them.

Talking to some of the caravan dealers who were present at the caravan show it was interesting to note that in most cases sales were not down on last year , and in some instances some caravan and holiday parks are saying that their bookings for the forthcoming year are up by 46% on last year. So it is not all doom and gloom.

We know of one visitor attraction in Devon who has just had the most business for a half term week ever.

We at Park Home Insurance Services are convinced that caravanning is going to be one of the most popular holidays in 2009

Once again, it was great to meet those of you who came to see us at our stand and we enjoyed being present throughout the course of the caravan show.

It was bought to our attention that the BBC Radio 4 programme ‘You and Yours’ on Friday 20th February featured interviews directly from the caravan show with items relating to Caravans and Caravanning so this may be worth a listen. Visit the BBC website to listen to this feature about caravanning.

Our next show will be the South West Caravan and Motorhome show in West Point, Exeter from the 27th February- 1st March 09.
